END OF LOVE by Kabir Kapoor is a story about a couple, madly in love, meet only occasionally when the girl visits the maximum city (Mumbai). End of love is about the fateful and 'dreamlike' day in their lives, when they spend a beautiful day together in Mumbai, isolated on a ferry. This poignant story is set in the backdrop of 26/11 PORTRAIT OF SAKI by Ganesh Jagdishan is a film that deals with the loss of a mother and a muse. The film begins with a letter that reaches Adinath, a mute painter who lives in isolation far away from his past glory. This letter brings back to fore the memories of a woman he loved till today. The letter is written by the daughter of the woman asking Adinath to immerse the ashes of her remains, as it was her last wish. Disheartened andwith hesitation he reaches the house of Koyal only to find a girl [SAKI] at the door who looks exactly like Koyal . It’s a strange meeting of sort as there are hundred questions running through Saki, one question that haunts her is, if this man who was so truly loved by her mother, shared the same kind of love for her .It’s a cathartic meeting of sorts for the two where they deal with the end of that one person whomattered the most to them both. FACE IT by Aditya Pawar is an ode to the craft of acting. It is a film about the creative process of an artist and the passion to search that indelible ‘Truth’ we all seek in our lives.
